In "Topography of Genesis," I delve into the evolution of life, exploring the myriad possibilities inherent in the dynamics of form during the act of creation. As an artist, I perceive each form as capable of unfolding into infinite marks, intricately interconnecting with every other existence within and beyond our human comprehension. This concept of the infinite, and its metaphorical exploration through the medium of painting, deeply captivates me.
My work juxtaposes elements of life that resonate personally, forging connections amidst the vast tapestry of existence. Through the process of mark making, I employ symbols to portray these connections, weaving together sensory perceptions and tactile experiences. I delve into the realm of medium and printmaking techniques, exploring how these modalities can articulate the nuances of human sensation.
Ultimately, my art is a journey—an exploration of the unseen threads that bind us to the universe, inviting viewers to contemplate the profound connectivity that defines our shared human experience.
The Seventh station: Jesus falls for the second time. The idea of knowing what lies beneath often triggers an instinctual curiosity to see the unseen. It is a matter of what we know and what is unknown. The layers of truth covered by blood are transformed into a promise that manifests its holiness into kindness and sacrifice. This truth is the grace that enables us to see and focus on what is unseen but felt with a passion that could live in Him forever.
